Most hospitals will not let you leave unless you have a car seat installed. The are numerous car seat options and you may find it helpful to talk to other moms through forums, church or other communities. You can also talk with your healthcare provider about potential recommendations.

As your partner continues in her pregnancy, her body is changing and growing and taking on some chores are more difficult and some even pose risks for her. She needs to avoid lifting things over 10lbs. You can score a lot of points and protect both she and your baby by picking up some of these chores and tasks. Run the vaccuum, go to the grocery store, and move things that need to get moved. Keep her from getting on her knees by doing other things like cleaning the toilets and bath tub.
